Browser
From DPWiki
Jargon Guides
A browser (web browser), is a software application used to visit and view websites.
Distributed Proofreaders's developers try to produce site code (the software applications behind the DP Website), and Post-Processors try to produce e-text versions, which can be handled by almost all browsers, in order for DP's process and products to be as widely accessible as possible.
Some of the browsers used by DPers include Firefox, Internet Explorer, Konqueror, Opera, Netscape, and Safari. For information on what browsers Distributed Proofreaders supports, please see this page: Supported Browsers.
