It would be nice to include instructions on using Jeebies (alone or with Guiguts). I'm using instructions here, because Jeebies doesn't work from within Guiguts for me. camomiletea 13:13, 4 February 2007 (PST)
- If the reason you can't use it within GG is that you get an empty window saying Hash something or other, there's a fix for that on the GG thread. As for instructions ... well I'll add what you get by typing --help after the command to the wiki page. Laurawisewell 13:32, 4 February 2007 (PST)
- I saw that fix, but it still doesn't work for me. It always shows "0 queries" in Guiguts, whereas if I run Jeebies separately through command line window I get a bunch of queries. Picking different modes doesn't help. camomiletea 13:56, 18 May 2007 (PDT)
- Do you think I could have an old version of jeebies and that could be messing it up? When I type --help after command, I get the following, which is different:
Usage is: jeebies [-h] [-l] filename where -h = high threshold (many likely false positives) -l = low threshold (fewer likely false positives)

- Question is off the table; the problem is solved. camomiletea 14:19, 18 May 2007 (PDT)

Note that if you make the fix for Jeebies (or other patches) in the guiguts.pl file you can not use the winguts.exe. You'll need to run the guiguts.pl file from a cmd window. I'll type up a page later documenting the fixes we've come up with. I tried to produce a new winguts.exe from my patched guiguts.pl but couldn't get it to work. I'll post the patched script and executable when I figure out the Windows anomolies. 8) -- vls 23:59, 4 February 2007 (PST)
