Full-page ads

A simple, full-page ad, with a heading, brief description, list of books, and the publisher's "contact" information. Remember to use placeholder characters to do alignment before replacing them with the actual tags, to account for alignment in plain text, as seen below.

Plain text output

This is how inline formatting affects the final appearance of the plain text version of the previous example (notice how everything lines up so nicely):

  1. Italics text almost always becomes underscores.
  2. Bold text usually becomes equals signs, but other symbols sometimes are used.
  3. Small caps text just becomes all uppercase and takes up no extra room. (Not used here.)
