User talk:Papeters
Hi papeters. In the Suggested wiki maintenance tasks article, you ask a question "How do we want to handle nominations for merge/deletion?" I was going to write a reply, but then it occurred to me that such question/reply stuff was more suited to the Discussion page for the article. I could have moved your question over myself, but that seemed somewhat impolite. Would you like to do it? Jmdyck 23:26, 20 May 2006 (PDT)
discussion indenting
p.s. While I'm at it, what is the convention to format a conversation like this? I'm used to seeing various levels of indentation, but don't know how to get that without a kludge. --Papeters 13:17, 21 May 2006 (PDT)
- Putting a colon at the beginning of the line/para indents it one level. Jmdyck 13:24, 21 May 2006 (PDT)
- Putting two colons indents it two levels, etc. Jmdyck 13:24, 21 May 2006 (PDT)
- Thanks! I look forward to having discussions that make visual sense now. --Papeters 22:58, 21 May 2006 (PDT)
- Whee! Jmdyck 23:18, 21 May 2006 (PDT)

Just to let you know, you don't need to place a horizontal break (----) between an article and its categories. The separation is handled automatically. Cheers, Mikeyc21 21:50, 23 May 2006 (PDT)
