Here are examples and detailed information about special instructions for working on Morris, Lucy Leavenworth Wilder and The Book Committee of the Minnesota Daughters of the American Revolution; Old Rail Fence Corners (2nd Edition); 1914.
For Foofers: Example regarding Headings
Chapter divisions in this work will be indicated by the name (and sometimes location) of a local DAR Chapter name. That will be followed by the name(s) of the DAR members who collected and transcribed the reminiscences found in that chapter. These Chapter headings and Sub-headings will be found centered horizontally on the page.
Each chapter will consist of multiple sections. The start of a section will be headed by the name of the "Old Settler" who was interviewed. (In some cases, the year of settlement in Wissonsin/Minnesota Territory is indicated.) These Section Headings will usually appear to be in a bold font and aligned with the left margin of the page.
Do not mistakenly treat the Section Headings as Chapter Sub-titles. In other words, two blank lines should be used to separate the last Chapter Sub-title from the first Section Title in each chapter, and only one blank line will separate the Section Title from the first line of body text.
Below is an example from page 273.

Notice that as indicated in the Formatting Guidelines for Section Headings, the section heading text is not formatted as bold even though it looks that way in the page image.
If you have any questions, just ask in the Project Thread. Thank you very much for your work on this project.
