Update: Sadly, Marlee is no longer with me.
Marlee is an approximately 11-year-old cockapoo for whom I have been providing a retirement home since April 2008. I received her through the Cocker Spaniel Resources rescue group based in Hudson, Wisconsin, although she came originally from Missouri.
The rescue group had originally named her Ava (short for Ava-Baa-Dava), but I renamed her Marlee after the actress Marlee Matlin since she is deaf.
