Lily3

We are trying out a new workflow where L3 grabs the code, compiles and checks. After clearance, L3 will name the files and upload to repository. This ensures that what is checked and cleared is exactly what is uploaded.

  • Amen block - since the "sash" thing came at the bottom with nothing below it, there was more space to improve its appearance. I moved the sash slightly down, so that the gap between the sash and the top notehead is more apparent.
  • Midis (both main tune and Amen generated without Vaticana voice

  • 1st system, 2nd half (white-note parts):
- Top voice missing flat on B.
- Last two alto notes missing beam.
- Tenor missing flat on B.
  • 2nd system, 1st half: tenor B should not have explicit natural.
  • Latin above lyrics: "Splendor" doesn't have a "u" here (though it does in lyrics).
  • Amen block: word needs spacers to fit notes.

  • Does anyone else think the key isn't C major, but D minor with accidentals instead of a key signature? :-)

  • You're right that it isn't really C major. Mode i corresponds to Dorian mode, the scale which, if played on the white keys (as here) begins and ends on ... D! But if Lilypond can't cope with "D Dorian" as a key specification, C major seems like a reasonable alternative.
