Lyrics copied from P3 and perl-formatted --QMacrocarpa 14:21, 3 July 2007 (PDT):
"THE Lord ascendeth up on high,"
" Loud anthems round him swelling;"
"The Lord hath triumphed gloriously."
" In power and might excelling:"
"Hell and the grave are captive led;"
"Lo, he returns, our glorious Head,"
" To his eternal dwelling."
""
"The heavens with joy receive their Lord;"
" O day of exultation!"
"By Saints, by Angel-hosts adored"
" For his so great salvation:"
"O earth, adore thy glorious King,"
"His Rising, his Ascension sing"
" With grateful adoration."
""
"By Saints in earth and Saints in heaven,"
" With songs for ever blended,"
"All praise to Christ our King be given,"
" Who hath to heaven ascended:"
"To Father, Son, and Holy Ghost,"
"The God of heaven's resplendent host,"
" In bright array extended. Amen."

Note by L3 KenJ 20:11, 24 August 2007 (PDT)
- System 1, measure 3, bass note 2: a => b.
- Lyrics, verse 1, line 3: the context seems to indicate this line should end in a comma instead of a period. (check 1933 ed.?)
- Verse 1, line 1: Probably should end in comma, also.
Notes by Jkenny 00:54, 25 August 2007 (PDT)
- Fixed bass Sys. 1 meas. 3 a -> b
- Verse 1 line 3 inserted comma (confirmed with 1933 ed.)
- Verse 1 line 1 already ends in comma. Other puncs. checked with 1933 ed.
- V2 up.
Note by KenJ 01:15, 25 August 2007 (PDT)
- Clear.
V2 uploaded to repository. Jkenny 01:38, 25 August 2007 (PDT)
