Lyrics copied from P3 and perl-formatted --QMacrocarpa 09:20, 28 June 2007 (PDT):

"LORD, in thy name thy servants, plead,"
" And thou hast sworn to hear;"
"Thine is the harvest, thine the seed,"
" The fresh and fading year."
""
"Our hope, when autumn winds blew wild,"
" We trusted, Lord, with thee;"
"And still, now spring has on us smiled,"
" We wait on thy decree."
""
"The former and the latter rain."
" The summer sun and air,"
"The green ear, and the golden grain,"
" All thine, are ours by prayer."
""
"Thine too by right, and ours by grace,"
" The wondrous growth unseen."
"The hopes that soothe, the fears that brace,"
" The love that shines serene."
""
"So grant the precious things brought forth"
" By sun and moon below,"
"That thee in thy new heaven and earth"
" We never may forgo."
""

Notes by L2 Jkenny 04:49, 29 July 2007 (PDT)

  • Not sure about punctuation of lyrics:
    • Verse 3 line 1. 1933 edition shows it ends with a comma, image here looks like a period, and P3 has proofed it as a period. Inserted a comma.
    • Verse 4 line 2. 1933 edition shows it ends with a comma, image here looks like a period and P3 has proofed it as a period. Inserted a comma.

Note by L3 KenJ 11:34, 23 August 2007 (PDT)

  • Agree with commas.
  • Last bass note in score should be changed from f to g.

Notes by Jkenny 17:55, 23 August 2007 (PDT)

  • Fixed bass note.
  • V2 up.

Note by L3 KenJ 21:27, 23 August 2007 (PDT)

  • Clear.

V2 uploaded to repository.
