Lyrics copied from P3 and perl-formatted --QMacrocarpa 09:15, 28 June 2007 (PDT):

"THOU hallowed chosen morn of praise,"
" That best and greatest shinest:"
"Lady and queen and day of days,"
" Of things divine, divinest!"
"On thee our praises Christ adore"
"For ever and for evermore."
""
"Come, let us taste the Vine's new fruit,"
" For heavenly joy preparing;"
"To-day the branches with the Root"
" In Resurrection sharing:"
"Whom as true God our hymns adore"
"For ever and for evermore."
""
"Rise, Sion, rise! and looking forth,"
" Behold thy children round thee!"
"From east and west, from south and north,"
" Thy scattered sons have found thee;"
"And in thy bosom Christ adore"
"For ever and for overmore."
""
"O Father, O co-equal Son,"
" O co-eternal Spirit,"
"In persons Three, in substance One,"
" And One in power and merit;"
"In thee baptized, we thee adore"
"For ever and for evermore. Amen."

Notes by Jkenny 07:04, 26 July 2007 (PDT)

  • 2nd system last bar, second last soprano note: I assumed there's a stem missing, and that it is actually a 1/2 note.

Note by L3 KenJ 20:58, 22 August 2007 (PDT)

  • Agree it should be 1/2 note.
  • Composer: replace "Harmony from" with "Adapted by".
  • System 3, measure 1, bass, note3: change from d to b.
  • Lyrics, verse 3, last word: replace "overmore" with "evermore". (same as in next hymn--alternative tune.)

Note by Jkenny 00:14, 23 August 2007 (PDT)

  • Fixed "Adapted by"
  • Fixed system 3 meas. 1 d -> b (alto)
  • Fixed verse 3 "evermore".
  • V2 up.

Notes by KenJ 11:53, 23 August 2007 (PDT)

  • Great--even if you have to correct my notes. That shows you understand what I mean, even if I don't "say" it right. :) Very good.
  • Clear.

V2 uploaded to repository.
