Lyrics copied from P3 and perl-formatted --QMacrocarpa 10:12, 12 June 2007 (PDT):
"'LORD, when thy kingdom comes, remember me;'"
" Thus spake the dying lips to dying ears;"
"O faith, which in that darkest hour could see"
" The promised glory of the far-off years!"
""
"No kingly sign declares that glory now,"
" No ray of hope lights up that awful hour;"
"A thorny crown surrounds the bleeding brow,"
" The hands are stretched in weakness, not in power."
""
"Hark! through the gloom the dying Saviour saith,"
" 'Thou too shalt rest in Paradise to-day;'"
"O words of love to answer words of faith!"
" O words of hope for those that live to pray!"
""
"Lord, when with dying lips my prayer is said,"
" Grant that in faith thy kingdom I may see;"
"And, thinking on thy Cross and bleeding head,"
" May breathe my parting words, 'Remember me.'"
""
"Remember me, but not my shame or sin;"
" Thy cleansing Blood hath washed them all away;"
"Thy precious death for me did pardon win;"
" Thy Blood redeemed me in that awful day."
""
"Remember me; and, ere I pass away,"
" Speak thou the assuring word that sets us free,"
"And make thy promise to my heart, 'To-day"
" Thou too shalt rest in Paradise with me.'"
""

Lily3 Notes
Copy the Lilypond source to your computer and compile it to create MIDIs and a PDF to check. Leave notes here, or edit the code in Lily2 and leave notes describing the changes. The L3 who declares the hymn "cleared" should upload the correctly-named files to the file repository. This ensures that what is checked and cleared is exactly what is uploaded.
styg 19:28, 20 July 2007 (PDT)
- Typo: original is missing the period after the third 10 in the poetic meter--added to Proofing errors page--no changes needed in ly file.
- 2nd system, 1st bar, tenor, 3rd note should be aes instead of a.
- Verse 1, line 1, opening single quote mark needs to be normal size instead of drop cap size.
Jkenny 20:01, 20 July 2007 (PDT)
- Fixed 2nd system 1st bar tenor note.
- Fixed verse 1 line 1 single quote mark size.
