Lyrics copied from P3 and perl-formatted --QMacrocarpa 14:22, 12 August 2007 (PDT):

"CAPTAINS of the saintly band,"
"Lights who lighten every land,"
"Princes who with Jesus dwell,"
"Judges of his Israel:"
""
"On the nations sunk in night"
"Ye have shed the Gospel light;"
"Sin and error flee away;"
"Truth reveals the promised day."
""
"Not by warrior's spear and sword,"
"Not by art of human word,"
"Preaching but the Cross of shame,"
"Rebel hearts for Christ ye tame."
""
"Earth, that long in sin and pain"
"Groaned in Satan's deadly chain,"
"Now to serve its God is free"
"In the law of liberty."
""
"Distant lands with one acclaim"
"Tell the honour of your name,"
"Who, wherever man has trod,"
"Teach the mysteries of God."
""
"Glory to the Three in One"
"While eternal ages run,"
"Who from deepest shades of night"
"Called us to his glorious light. Amen."
""

Notes by L2 Jkenny 04:09, 3 September 2007 (PDT)

  • This one might have just fitted into one page with 2 column lyrics if it weren't for the "Unison" thing at verse 5.
  • Name of lyric author: "J.-B." I left no space in between, matches the image, I hope that is right.
  • "Santeüil" - I see an umlaut above the "u". P3 agrees.

Notes by L3 KenJ 21:04, 8 October 2007 (PDT)

  • Author's name: Hyphen and umlaut confirmed in index, 975png.
  • Lyrics: verses 5 and 6 (page 2 of PDF) are too far left.

Notes by L2 Jkenny 20:38, 9 October 2007 (PDT)

  • Fixed verse 5 and 6 by moving them rightwards.
  • V2 up.
