Lyrics copied from P3 and perl-formatted --QMacrocarpa 14:19, 12 August 2007 (PDT):

"THE eternal gifts of Christ the King,"
"The Apostles' glorious deeds, we sing;"
"And while due hymns of praise we pay,"
"Our thankful hearts cast grief away."
""
"The Church in these her princes boasts,"
"These victor chiefs of warrior hosts;"
"The soldiers of the heavenly hall,"
"The lights that rose on earth for all."
""
"'Twas thus the yearning faith of Saints,"
"The unconquered hope that never faints,"
"The love of Christ that knows not shame,"
"The prince of this world overcame."
""
"In these the Father's glory shone;"
"In these the will of God the Son;"
"In these exults the Holy Ghost;"
"Through these rejoice the heavenly host."
""
"Redeemer, hear us of thy love,"
"That, with this glorious band above,"
"Hereafter, of thine endless grace,"
"Thy servants also may have place."

Notes by L2 Jkenny 19:49, 3 September 2007 (PDT)

  • Last system first measure. I moved the top fermata sideways a little to the right to accommodate the slur -- matches the image.

Notes by L3 KenJ 23:19, 6 October 2007 (PDT)

  • Tempo: No "n" at end of "rhythm".
  • Unison should not be capitalized.
  • System 1, measure 3, note 2: add down stem (image looks like up and down stems to me).
  • End of system 2, alto slur: Maybe raise the slur up, or shorten it a little to make sure nobody confuses it being between top alto notes. Probably shortening would be best. (see following note below)
  • System 3, measure 1, alto slur: Same as above, raise or shorten a little so slur doesn't overlap bottom note(first of slur).
  • Note below score: Missing "Note.--".
  • Translator block: T. A. L. => J. M. Neale.
  • Lyrics: Put period after "Amen".

Notes by L2 Jkenny 05:56, 7 October 2007 (PDT)

  • Fixed "rhythm".
  • Fixed "unison".
  • Sys 1 meas. 3 note 2 - fixed downstem.
  • Fixed both alto ties - moved them up and shaped them manually so it looks more obvious that they tie together only the top alto notes.
  • Note below score. Don't understand. The "Note.--" is there.
  • Fixed translator block.
  • Inserted period after "Amen".

Comment and clear. KenJ 15:45, 7 October 2007 (PDT)

  • "Note.--" was missing in my download. Perhaps you corrected that, and I didn't use the latest V1 post. The V1 above DOES have it, but I checked my V1 file, and it is missing. I had to try to make sure I hadn't already "lost it" completely, and didn't see what was actually there. Oh well... whatever. :)
  • Clear.

  • V2 uploaded to repository. Jkenny 08:37, 8 October 2007 (PDT)
