Lyrics copied from P3 and perl-formatted --QMacrocarpa 18:06, 5 July 2007 (PDT):

"COME, O Creator Spirit, come,"
"And make within our hearts thy home;"
"To us thy grace celestial give,"
"Who of thy breathing move and live."
""
"O Comforter, that name is thine,"
"Of God most high the gift divine;"
"The well of life, the fire of love,"
"Our souls' anointing from above."
""
"Thou dost appear in sevenfold dower"
"The sign of God's almighty power;"
"The Father's promise, making rich"
"With saving truth our earthly speech."
""
"Our senses with thy light inflame,"
"Our hearts to heavenly love reclaim;"
"Our bodies' poor infirmity"
"With strength perpetual fortify."
""
"Our mortal foe afar repel,"
"Grant us henceforth in peace to dwell;"
"And so to us, with thee for guide,"
"No ill shall come, no harm betide."
""
"May we by thee the Father learn,"
"And know the Son, and thee discern,"
"Who art of both; and thus adore"
"In perfect faith for evermore."
"Amen."

Notes by L2 Jkenny 07:59, 8 August 2007 (PDT)

  • "To be sung in unison." I put that just above the music staff instead of on the same line as the metronome tempo. I think the original printer put it on the same line to save on vertical space. On other pieces, this unison instruction is usually just above the upper staff of the 1st system.
  • Last line of verse 6 and the Amen - I rejoined them like a long line of poetry so that the Amen is on the same line.

Note by L3 KenJ 20:06, 19 September 2007 (PDT)

  • Lyrics: put period after "Amen".

Note by L2 Jkenny 06:17, 20 September 2007 (PDT)

  • Inserted period after Amen.
  • Terce - discussed in previous piece.
  • V2 up.

Note by L3 KenJ 15:11, 20 September 2007 (PDT)

  • See note for 246.

Notes by L2 Jkenny 01:09, 21 September 2007 (PDT)

  • Ok, moved the titles closer to the edge, this becomes Version 3, so cleared and uploaded to repository.
