Lyrics copied from P3 and perl-formatted --QMacrocarpa 18:06, 5 July 2007 (PDT):

"COME, O Creator Spirit, come,"
"And make within our hearts thy home;"
"To us thy grace celestial give,"
"Who of thy breathing move and live."
""
"O Comforter, that name is thine,"
"Of God most high the gift divine;"
"The well of life, the fire of love,"
"Our souls' anointing from above."
""
"Thou dost appear in sevenfold dower"
"The sign of God's almighty power;"
"The Father's promise, making rich"
"With saving truth our earthly speech."
""
"Our senses with thy light inflame,"
"Our hearts to heavenly love reclaim;"
"Our bodies' poor infirmity"
"With strength perpetual fortify."
""
"Our mortal foe afar repel,"
"Grant us henceforth in peace to dwell;"
"And so to us, with thee for guide,"
"No ill shall come, no harm betide."
""
"May we by thee the Father learn,"
"And know the Son, and thee discern,"
"Who art of both; and thus adore"
"In perfect faith for evermore."
"Amen."

%% a second set of macro settings for stemless long notes ( 2x duration of regular white note )
%% this one uses X-offset instead of force-hshift.
%% All long notes are offset slightly to the right with respect to any beamed notes which
%% they are aligned with. Normally, this is done with force-hshift.
%% However, when 2 long notes occur one atop the other (i.e. in S + A pats or in T + B parts), then applying force-hshift
%% to both does not work. Hence one note needs to be moved with the regular force-hshift in the \ln macro above,
%% while the other is moved with X-offset with the macro \lnb
%% In general force-hshift is preferred whenever possible as slurs are adjusted automatically, while X-offset especially
%% when used with a bottom slur often results in a slur starting too far to the left and which then needs manual adjustment.

Notes by L3 KenJ 20:08, 19 September 2007 (PDT)

  • System 2: last bass note one octave too high.
  • Lyrics: put period after "Amen".
  • Amen score: image shows two dashes instead of one (showing a syllable or dash above each note), but probably not necessary in PDF, but probably would be in music notation software.
  • second base note one octave too high. Don't forget the apostrophe.
  • (addendum) I could not make out the word "Terce" for the event/occasion for the hymn. Please verify. The lyrics are the same for pages 246 and 247, so if you need to correct it, please do so for both. KJ

Notes by L2 Jkenny 06:10, 20 September 2007 (PDT)

  • Fixed sys 2 last bass note.
  • Inserted period after Amen.
  • Fixed Amen lyrics - now has two dashes.
  • Fixed Amen second bass note.
  • Yes indeed, the word "Terce." is in the 1933 edition and you can see a vague outline of it in the scan under high magnification. I have no idea what "Terce." means, though.
  • V2 up.

Note by L3 KenJ 15:10, 20 September 2007 (PDT)

  • For 246/247: I think the event ("Terce") and translator("Before 10th...") sections should be spread out more toward the margins to look more like the image, and previous PDF's. Then clear.

Note by L2 Jkenny 00:58, 21 September 2007 (PDT)

  • Ok, moved event and translator outwards. This becomes version 3.
  • Cleared and uploaded to repository.
