-Lyrics copied from P3 and indented (or not! in this case) with perl script.--QMacrocarpa 20:25, 12 May 2007 (PDT)

"As with gladness men of old"
"Did the guiding star behold,"
"As with joy they hailed its light,"
"Leading onward, beaming bright,"
"So, most gracious God, may we"
"Evermore be led to thee."
""
"As with joyful steps they sped,"
"To that lowly manger-bed,"
"There to bend the knee before"
"Him whom heaven and earth adore,"
"So may we with willing feet"
"Ever seek thy mercy-seat."
""
"As they offered gifts most rare"
"At that manger rude and bare,"
"So may we with holy joy,"
"Pure, and free from sin's alloy,"
"All our costliest treasures bring,"
"Christ, to thee our heavenly King."
""
"Holy Jesu, every day"
"Keep us in the narrow way;"
"And, when earthly things are past,"
"Bring our ransomed souls at last"
"Where they need no star to guide,"
"Where no clouds thy glory hide."
""
"In the heavenly country bright"
"Need they no created light;"
"Thou its Light, its Joy, its Crown,"
"Thou its Sun which goes not down:"
"There for ever may we sing"
"Alleluyas to our King."

Lily3

We are trying out a new workflow where L3 grabs the code and compiles for checking. After checking, L3 uploads to the file repository. This ensures that what is cleared is actually what is uploaded.

Notes

Notes by L2 Jkenny 01:12, 14 May 2007 (PDT)

  • now that it has been mentioned, I am getting very conscious about the stem lengths. Here's another piece which looks like a lawn mower has been over.

Comments by stygiania 15:14, 14 May 2007 (PDT)

  • I agree with P3 that the meter marking is 96 instead of 92.
  • Otherwise this looks great!

Comments by QMacrocarpa 20:04, 14 May 2007 (PDT):

  • Nothing to add!

Note by Jkenny 22:21, 14 May 2007 (PDT)

  • Meter fixed.
