Notes
Jkenny 07:12, 10 May 2007 (PDT)
- I set the lyrics in 2 columns of 4 verses each, departing from the layout of the image, but retaining the "style". By doing this, I managed to squeeze everything into 1 page.
notes --stygiania 11:40, 10 May 2007 (PDT):
- Add period after Melody from Este's Psalter, 1592
- Add parentheses around Modern form of last line.
- soprano notes an octave too low in the Amen
notes --QMacrocarpa 17:27, 10 May 2007 (PDT)
- Missing period after "ST" of "ST. MICHAEL"
- Line above lyrics-- Cyberhymnal entry suggests middle word is "aesmant" which looks possible from scan. Might check in your copy?
- I like the one-page layout!
replies --Jkenny 02:28, 11 May 2007 (PDT)
- All missing periods, praentheses inserted.
- Fixed Amen -- for the want of an apostrophe, an Amen was lost.
- According to the 1933 edition, it is "Jam desinant suspiria". Among options, most google hits on this phrase, so probably right.
my last note --QMacrocarpa 14:20, 11 May 2007 (PDT)
- Everything looks and sounds great in the PDF and MIDI, but I noticed a typo in the second line of the file header: %%% Hymn 27 St. Michael "Let sighing cease and owe" (Snicker-- sounds like a credit card advertisement!)
Lily3 cleared, but do see one last note. QMacrocarpa 15:11, 11 May 2007 (PDT) - fixed
