- Lyrics copied from P3 and indented with perl script--QMacrocarpa 20:33, 12 May 2007 (PDT):

"When came in flesh the incarnate Word,"
" The heedless world slept on,"
"And only simple shepherds heard"
" That God had sent his Son."
""
"When comes the Saviour at the last,"
" From east to west shall shine"
"The awful pomp, and earth aghast"
" Shall tremble at the sign."
""
"Then shall the pure of heart be blest;"
" As mild he comes to them,"
"As when upon the Virgin's breast"
" He lay at Bethlehem:"
""
"As mild to meek-eyed love and faith,"
" Only more strong to save;"
"Strengthened by having bowed to death,"
" By having burst the grave."
""
"Lord, who could dare see thee descend"
" In state, unless he knew"
"Thou art the sorrowing sinner's friend,"
" The gracious and the true?"
""
"Dwell in our hearts, O Saviour blest;"
" So shall thine advent's dawn"
"'Twixt us and thee, our bosom-guest,"
" Be but the veil withdrawn."

Lily3

We are trying out a new workflow where L3 grabs the code, compiles and checks. After clearance, L# will name the files and upload to repository. This ensures that what is checked and cleared is exactly what is uploaded.

Notes

Notes by L2 Jkenny 04:10, 13 May 2007 (PDT)

  • Also trying out the new fermata tweak.

Comments by stygiania 13:23, 13 May 2007 (PDT)

  • Fermata on wrong note in bass line of first system.
  • Dates for J. Anstice should be 1808-36 instead of 1608-36.

Comments by QMacrocarpa 14:01, 13 May 2007 (PDT)

  • My preference is to leave fermatas out of MIDIs.
  • No additional things to fix found.

Replies by Jkenny 20:16, 13 May 2007 (PDT)

  • Errors fixed. Fermata tweak removed.

Lily3 cleared, files uploaded stygiania 20:44, 13 May 2007 (PDT)
