Java is not used in DP

Just FYI: No part of DP that I know of uses Java, including the Proofreading Interface. I know this because I do most of my work on a system whose Java is totally broken, so if it were required I would have major things that don't work. JavaScript, however (no relation), works fairly well in Konqueror, but better in Firefox.

If Safari (as does Konqueror) has the ability to limit permissions, such as JavaScript usage, to specific sites, I would recommend using that ability. One need not enable JavaScript globally if it can be done for pgdp.net specifically.
