Can I suggest you make this a tree of subpages? There's no structural need, and it may be more flexible and findable. You could link them together with links, and also use a Category to associate them with other software (LaTeX and GIMP< for example). Vaguery 11:51, 27 May 2006 (PDT)

This was more of a stubbing out of a thought that I was working on. It is a subpage of Harvesting/Google Book Search though it should also show up in a software catagory. I need to redesign my entire plan. I am not a Wiki expert so I don't know all the ins and outs. I have only done some basic work with one. I am working on making the programmer's quasi-manual a little easier to read and add my suggestions from having used the program. De2164 11:59, 10 June 2006 (PDT)

How do I delete the pages I created as links? Since the setup of Perl was already explained elsewhere, I used it as a common page incase of updates. This is the setup instructions for GUIGuts but you need to do the same things for Gharvest. I should review it though to see if there is anything that could confuse someone. Perhaps under the Software Catagory we could create a standard generic instruction on how to install Perl since it is a common language for things we do in DP. De2164 12:36, 10 June 2006 (PDT)
