Just a flag planted here to remind me (or anybody) that we could conceivably spend some time compiling links among these authors, the Closing the set pages, PG, and the copyright clearances obtained. Vaguery 09:15, 20 May 2006 (PDT)

These lists look much like wikipedia. Do not waste your time ;)--Keichwa 10:36, 20 May 2006 (PDT)

Partly to play around with creating templates, and partly to have a more concise TOC on pages such as these monthly birthday lists, I created compact templates for pages that use monthly dates/ordinals as section headings. I used the Template:TOC Compact Month31 to revise the Authors' Birthdays/January page. Again, to use the template, the section headings have to be in the form of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc., as I did on the January page. If folks like this setup, I also created Template:TOC Compact Month30 and Template:TOC Compact Month28 which can be used to lay out the other months' pages similarly. For what it's worth. I added Template:TOC Compact Month29 which is needed for the February page, and am just about to use it to update the Feb page. Lpryor 05:03, 30 May 2006 (PDT)
See, I debated whether to do 28 or 29, but I went with 28 figuring that since not all February's have 29 days that the Queues must be set release the projects for Feb 29 birthdays on Feb 28 most years, but in the light of day I can see that was poor logic since this list should use the real dates since it is totally independent from the release queue settings.... Sigh. Brain not fully engaged. Then maybe the template for Month28 can be deleted...hmmm.... Anyway, glad someone found the idea of Month TOC templates useful enough that they wanted to replicate the idea on another month's page. :) Kraester 20:39, 30 May 2006 (PDT)

May, June, Sept

It looks like proofreaders have little wiki knowledge, as they may know about author's birthdays, but dare not create pages. I just created July, still searching some authors for the rest. --DLL 14:13, 31 October 2006 (PST)

Added the remaining months, with one author for each so that it didn't look quite so half-baked. Brownfox 14:43, 6 March 2007 (PST)
