Text tips

In the proofreading Interface, each page includes a spellcheck tool that identifies unknown words and tries to offer a list of replacement words. Choose Insert when you have to type anything else.

Other software available are :

• Any word processor, using the desired language. Just copy and paste the text into it. You often see the phrase including the wrong word and a list of candidate replacement words in the same pop up window.

Check, (double click one of the words, or enter the correct word and click "Modify"), read again and paste back.

• PPTools/Guiguts. It offers specialized spellchecking features.

Image tips

For an easier comparison, some browsers are offered zoom image tools. E.g., Image Zoom is a Firefox (see HTML : external resources) add-on that allows to choose the zoom level.

Hint : choose a zoom level that gives the same line height as the text ; then, in the proofreading interface, choose Switch to vertical.

In this example, the zoom level is 125%.
