The books listed here have been requested by various DP users who would like to see them run through the Rounds and posted to Project Gutenberg. The page scans have not been found online and will need to be made. When possible, the book's page at WorldCat has been linked to help interested CP/PMs find the physical book at a library.
The copyright status (and eligibility for clearance) has not been determined for these books.

Author: | Afanasyev, Alexander | Illustrator: | Remarks: Unfortunately, I suspect the author's name can be written a dozen different ways, and I'm fairly sure that the book has had several different English titles. It was first published in Switzerland; I wouldn't mind seeing a French or German edition. Wikipedia cites The Oxford Companion to Fairy Tales, so maybe that volume will have more information.
The Internet Archive (usually) transliterates his name as Afanasev, Aleksandr Nikolaevich. Other requested editions in LOTE:
