German (fraktur) books available
I have quite a few German/Fraktur books that I can destructively scan if there is someone who wants to do the OCR and PM them. I don't read fraktur very well, so I figure it's easier to just load scans of the title pages. I haven't cleared any of these books but they will all clear. If there isn't an obvious date on the TP, then there is a dated inscription or something on the verso. Some of these are two volumes.--JulietS 10:20, 29 January 2007 (PST)

User:Piggy has scanned about a hundred fraktur books. They are available from Piggy Bücher. If you want to work on one of these books, grab it and then send a PM to piggy on pgdp and he'll mark the book with your name.
You may choose from books about the German language, German literature, or German readers.

Forgive me - I'm no good at editing Wiki-pages, but I tried my best:

You may want to contact me before starting scanning; I am planning to post the novellas one by one, and some are already available at PG; so it may not be necessary to scan the complete book.
