071

Move both Illustrations to the only paragraph break on the page. Their captions are all-caps, not small-caps.

072

This is a Title page. It is a "Major Division," so it should be preceded by 4 blank lines. Enclose everything in no-wraps.

This page has no in-line formatting, and although the blank lines show the obvious separations between parts of the page, they probably will be changed in Post-Processing.

073

The title of the page suggests that it's a "Major Division," so it should be preceded by 4 blank lines and followed by 2 blank lines.

The rest of the page is a simple list. Enclose it in no-wraps and make sure it's all in one column (this is not a table).

Because the entries are so short and simple, single-space them, but, like the original, leave a blank line where the first letter changes to make it more readable.

Note: The first entry seems to be missing a comma, so it would be appropriate to leave a note: Arden[** missing comma] Francis

074

It's title is "Contents," so even though it's alphabetical like an Index, format it like a Table of Contents (ToC).

A ToC is a "Major Division," so it should be preceded by 4 blank lines and it's title followed by 2 blank lines.

Enclose the rest of the text in no-wraps, remove any alignment dots, and leave at least six spaces between the end of the entry and the page numbers, to indicate that they need to be right-justified. Also, leave at least six spaces before the word "PAGE" to indicate that it is right-justified.

Since only the first entry is in small-caps, do not tag it that way, but "format" it like the other entries: that is, as simple mixed-case with no tags.

For readability, leave a blank line wherever the first letter changes, which is how it was printed.

075

"POEMS" obviously is a "Major Division" and should be preceded by 4 blank lines.

Without being able to see the rest of the book or the original Project Comments, you can't know for certain whether each poem should be treated as a Chapter or as a Section; in the actual project, each poem was listed in the Table of Contents and was treated as a Chapter, with its headings preceded by 4 blank lines and followed by 2 blank lines.

In the last line of the heading, the colon is a separator and goes OUTSIDE the adjacent italics tags; but the first period is part of an abbreviation and goes INSIDE the italics tags.

Poetry is not wrappable, so enclose the actual poem in no-wraps and reproduce the indentation as closely as possible, always using an even number of spaces. At least one line in any no-wraps block must be left-justified.

Precede each stanza with a blank line.

The italicized line in the heading is a complete sentence, so the period goes INSIDE the tags.

077

Mostly a very simple page of poetry: enclose all of it in one pair of no-wraps, precede each stanza with a blank line, and reproduce the indentation as closely as possible, always using an even number of spaces. At least one line in any no-wraps block must be left-justified.

We can tell that the first lines on the page begin a new stanza because there are 6 of them, just like the other stanzas on this page. (It isn't always this obvious.)

The hard part of this page is that "HE" in mixed-case small-caps. Very easy to miss.

078

Similar to the other poetry pages explained above.

079

The italics at the beginnings of several paragraphs are complete sentences for formatting purposes, so the periods go INSIDE the tags.

The Illustration should be placed between paragraphs; whether you moved it up or down doesn't matter. "Fig." is not in small-caps.

The footnotes used symbols and the Proofers replaced all of them with asterisks. As formatters, we replace those asterisks with the sequential letters "A", "B", etc. in both the anchors and the corresponding references.

In the footnotes, the equals signs do not belong inside any tags.

080

This is a Title page. It is a "Major Division," so it should be preceded by 4 blank lines. Enclose everything in no-wraps, be sure to mark anything requiring in-line formatting, and indicate that there is an illustration.

Whatever spacing you use between lines probably will be changed in Post-Processing, so do just enough to indicate where you think the logical groups are.
