Access Requirements -- Post-Processing Verification
It is important that a PPVer possess good mentoring skills in order to assist new PPers in learning the art of postprocessing. PPVers should also be skilled with HTML and CSS in order to assist PPers in troubleshooting their submissions.
PPV status may be granted once 8 PP projects, with a total of at least 800 pages, have been uploaded without problems directly to PG provided the projects comply with the current PPV standards (including Strongly Recommended items).
For small LOTE communities, PPV status may be granted earlier.
All PPV coordinators must agree on PPV appointments. New PPVers are provided with useful information on PPVing support for their first few PPVs.
If you believe you have the necessary skills and meet the above criteria and wish to begin PPVing, please email the PPV coordinators (ppv-coord at pgdp.net). PPers and PPVers may of course contact the PPV coordinators (ppv-coord at pgdp.net) for advice on PPVing at any time.
Because of the amount of regular practice required to maintain Post-Processing Verification skills, DP may remove that access if a volunteer has not worked in that area for an extended period.
