When did s/he join?

When working in a later round, it's often nice to know if the previous proofer/formatter was a beginner or an old hand at this game. One way to tell is by checking when they joined.

You can search for the user's stats through the Stats Central page, using the "Member Search" box near the top, but some names are contained within other users' names, and may take several pages to find the right person.

User ID number

When you hover the mouse over a User ID name in the proofing window or on the diffs page you will see something like the following appear at the very bottom of the window (in your browser's status bar):

The number after the "&u=" is the forum User ID number for that person. Clicking on the link will allow you to send them a PM, but you can use the ID number to find their date joined.

Forum Profile Link

This link will take you to the profile page for a forum user ID number. By changing the ID number ("&u=_____"), you can specify any single ID. The date they joined DP is shown in the forum profile.
