Louise, there are a few simple things you can do to follow wiki articles, and get email notification when they're modified.

For email, all you need to do is edit your preferences (upper right of any page) and add your email address, and then confirm the address by clicking the link in the mail the wiki will send to you.

If you like, in the "Editing" part of the preferences page, you can activate something like "Watch pages I create". This will automatically add those pages to your watchlist. This can be a lot of pages :)

But in general, any page you want to follow, just click the "Watch" link at the top left, in the gray horizontal bar. And if you get swamped, click the "my watchlist" in the upper right corner of any page, and you can trim some out!

Hope that helps. Vaguery 13:25, 22 May 2006 (PDT)

This <pg_formats> markup: is there any way of escaping commas, or otherwise handling titles with commas in them? See the Holinshed projects for examples of how it goes haywire. Otherwise I guess I could use the [[etext ]] markup, which might be what I want anyway... the lists of formats clutter the page up a bit... hmm... Lpryor 11:31, 29 May 2006 (PDT)

(Your user_talk page is actually for others to ask you questions, so don't expect answers to questions you post here. You might get them anyway, though...)
[[etext:12345|My book, with comma]], by My Author -- <pg_formats etext="12345" />.
My book, with comma, by My Author -- [EPUB; HTML; Mobipocket; RDF; Text (us-ascii)]. Mikeyc21 13:02, 29 May 2006 (PDT)
I realised that, it was half a question, half a musing... Thanks! Lpryor 13:49, 29 May 2006 (PDT)
