Hi! I'm Simon and after several years addiction to PGDP post-processing, I took a bit of a step back into the less well ordered ambience of Real Life. But just now and then, according to the ebb and flow of the seasons and health, I jump back into the proofing fray...
My inclination with post-processing has always been to the neglected projects languishing for a year or more at the end of the queues, and a preference for copiously illustrated non-fiction which at times seemed like "biting off more than he can chew".
I have studied physics, linguistics and theology. I read widely in history and literature but just for pleasure. Music remains a hobby (folk, classical guitar, choir). The Isle of Wight was where I was born and grew up and is where I live now, but along the way home has been Oxford, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, West Sussex and Ethiopia from time to time, though not in that order.
I have maintained a list of the projects that I have PP-ed, to record stuff I've learned and enjoyed - and to acknowledge the extraordinary help that has been given to me by generous and encouraging and patient people. I don't know how to do it except to pour a huge amount of time and effort into each one, but it is enormously rewarding to see each completed.
