Please ensure the following to make the document compatible with Kindle format conversion, and try sending it again.
- Split large tables into several smaller tables, align the direction of text in the tables, and remove drop-caps in the tables.
- Remove multi-media content such as audio, video, and SVG images.
- Remove multi-media content such as audio, video, and SVG images. [sic]
- Remove mathematical equations.
- Remove images that contain linear gradients.
- Remove password protection or any other security settings.
- Remove any footnotes inside footnotes.
- Check the document can be opened on a computer.
- Make sure the document doesn't have more than 8,000 pages.

From the above list we can surmise that AMZ does not know how, or does not want to:
- Convert SVG files (no rasterizing to PNG or JPEG?)
- Display or convert MathML
- Proofread their help pages for duplicate bulletin items.
I can’t understand the “no linear gradient” rule. Does that mean no images with gradients? Are they referring to CSS linear gradients? Or is this a ‘conversion to black and white of gradients always look bad’ because AMZ hasn’t figured out halftone techniques?
