Future Features
- Show pairs of square brackets correctly inside proofreaders' notes.
- When small-caps text is split across pages the text on one page can have no capitals: mark as only a possible issue.
- Be able to configure the font and font size for <f> markup.
- Be able to accept issues as tolerable either individually or as a category -- now partially implemented (see above).
- Check for unnecessary blank lines before a closing block quote marker.
- Show inline formatting even if there are issues elsewhere.
- Include in the "Configure" options a 'reset to default colors'.
- Be able to edit in the preview and assuming this is implemented right clicking on selected text to re-use the most recent formatting button.
- Check for a following } on the same line following ^{ or _{.
- Flag Empty markup such as <i></i>. Also empty Footnotes, sidenotes and sub-, super-script markup.
- Check headings for all <g> and all capital in the same way as <b>, also do these checks for captions.
- Add an option to disable checking for a character before an inline start tag but continue to check for punctuation before an inline start tag.
- Check for tags inside markup for characters with diacritical marks if possible.
- Enable certain issues to be marked as serious whilst still allowing markup processing. In particular "space after start tag" and "space before end tag" which can occur when using "reverse italics". Also "Small caps should contain at least one upper case letter" could be marked like this to allow for the case of text flowing over a page boundary.
- Show the number of spaces used, when it's 4 or more. Possibly as a toggle-on option for poetry.
- Mark the footnote anchors with a background colour so that it is easier to check that they are all present.
- Add a button to Save as done and proofread next page.
- Make the zoom factors for the image and text persistent.
- Check for a space after the colon in a footnote.
- Check that *[ is followed by Footnote or Sidenote.
