ocrad choked hard on two fairly ugly scan images but did a decent job on another clean image. Does not like two column scans that's for sure. More piddling to come. Figure what kind of input it likes or not. vls 20:16, 4 September 2006 (PDT)

Thanks, I did use the -l switch. I think it was the scan image so I probably jumped the gun about not liking two-column. I'm a newb to the OCR thing. So I have plenty of testing to do. I'll try converting to ppm's and pgm's to see what effect file format has.
