Talk:LaTeX formatting manual

Need something under FOOTNOTES about footnotes carried over from previous page.

Standard guide says "*[Footnote:", but Latex guide has no clear indication how to handle absence of footnote marker in text, solid line separating body of text from footnote.

I'm sure each formatter could come up with a suitable solution, but there ought to be instructions here.
