This page is to give more information about where the data from the various round status graphs come from.

Pages remaining in round

This images show the total number of pages remaining in each round. The red bars show the rounds that have more than the average number of pages (calculated as the total number of pages over the number of rounds). Because this image shows the total number of pages in each round, it will not noticeably change day-to-day unless something drastic occurs in a given round.

Days to finish all pages in round

This image shows how many days it would take to complete all pages in the current round at the current rate. The current rate is calculated as the average number of pages completed in that round over the previous 7 days. Because this graph uses trend information, the graph can change day-to-day based on pages completed in each round.

Why do the red bars on this graph not match those for the "Pages remaining in round" graph?

It's possible that the bars that are red on the two graphs are different. This is to be expected because the graphs are showing two different things.

The "Pages remaining in round" (ie: Pages) graph is showing the total number of pages in each round. The "Days to finish all pages in round" (ie: Days) graph uses the total number of pages in each round but also takes into consideration the rate at which those pages are being worked on.

So the key difference is that the Days graph is based on the current rate which is changing while the Pages graph is not.

Why isn't PP on this graph?

PPing statistics can be counted in pages, but PPers work with and post projects, not individual pages. Project page counts can vary from less than 10 to more than 2000 (though most commonly, they're somewhere in between).
