H.G. Winter

The Gale Online Biography Resource center does not have an entry for H.G. Winter. The isfdb claims H.G. Winter is a pseudonym of Harry Bates and Desmond W. Hall. The isfdb claims Harry Bates (Hiram Gilmore Bates) US author 1900-1981 and Desmond Winter Hall US author 1909-1992. Hiram Gilmore Bates was born October 9, 1900 in Pittsburgh, PA and died in 1981. Both St. James Guide to Science Fiction Writers and Contemporary Authors have entries for Harry Bates. Contento does not have an entry for H.G. Winter.
