St. James Guide to Science Fiction Writers has an entry with very little information. Claims American author Floyd L. Wallace with no birth or death information. The isfdb agrees and has no more bio details. Contento says 1930?-1995? with no more information.

May '09: Wikipedia has the following with no source: "He was born in Rock Island, Illinois in 1915, and died in Tustin, California in 2004. He spent most of his life in California as a writer and mechanical engineer after attending the Universtiy of Iowa." The isfdb now has the same years listed.
