The Gale Online Biography Resource Center does not have an entry for Boyd Ellanby. The isfdb claims Boyd Ellanby is a pseudonym used by Lyle G. Boyd and William C. Boyd when writing together. It was sometimes spelled Boyd Ellanbee. The Gale Online Biography Resource Center does not have an entry for Lyle G. Boyd. Contemporary Authors claims William Clouser Boyd was born Dearborn, MO March 4, 1903 and died February 19, 1983. The only hint that he might have written SF is a non-fiction collaboration with Isaac Asimov. The isfdb agrees for William C. Boyd and has no bio details for Lyle G. Boyd.
