General instructions
This table of contents is as simple as they get. Aligning the page numbers was not required by guidelines, but may save some time for the post-processor.
They are easy to do because there is so little to do:
- Leave four blank lines above "Contents";
- Leave two blank lines below "Contents";
- Leave at least six spaces before the page numbers.
- Left-justify everything else.
- Leave a blank line wherever you see a need for one; two if you must.
- Do all of the inline formatting.
- Enclose everything except "CONTENTS" in no-wraps.
- Don't unwrap/rejoin any lines.
Aligning page numbers, and possibly other items, is not necessary, but may help the post-processor.
