In Memoriam/Simple Simon

David Jones (Simple Simon) joined Distributed Proofreaders in 2006 and, in his time with us, worked as a Project Manager and Post Processor and proofread and formatted more than 5,000 pages. However, it is in his role of Site Administrator at Distributed Proofreaders Canada which he co-founded in 2007 that he is most remembered here. At DPC, David was Site Administrator, Wiki Administrator, Proofreader, Formatter, Project Manager, Post-Processor, Post-Processing Verifier, and so much more. Many of us have worked closely with him over the years, sharing information and assistance back and forth between our two organizations.

David, his vision, intelligence, and hard work, will be greatly missed both here and at Distributed Proofreaders Canada.
