Having troubles with image display?
It could be several things, and the exact symptoms drive which solution path we try.
If you cannot see just one image in this one book project, but other pages in the project are OK
You can post the problem in the project thread but include the page number. (At the bottom of the text there should be a three-digit number, like 044.png. This is usually different than the page-image page number. Things like title page and table of contents result in this non-alignment.) There are ways to open a page outside of the proofing interface, but we try to avoid that confusion for BEGINners, so somebody might just take care of that page for you.
If you cannot see lots of pages in this one book project, but other projects are OK
Post that problem in the project forum too. Be sure to specify how many pages you tried and which page numbers (nnn.png) they were. This is an indication that the project may be "BAD" and a BEGIN coordinator will check it out and (if needed) pull the project for repair.
If you cannot see any pages in this project, but other projects are OK
You can try posting to the project thread but sometimes this just happens. There are specific bugs in specific versions of specific browsers that may render them unable to display images with certain characteristics. Sometimes every page of a project will have the same issue. In general this can only be fixed with a browser upgrade or a different browser.
If you cannot see the pages in any projects, not just this one
This usually means you're having some issues with the way the site needs your browser set. There is a forum thread that describes the steps for several different browsers (Netscape, Microsoft IE, Opera, etc.). See the Browser Problems article for specific details.
If you use Malwarebytes Browser Guard
Sometimes Malwarebytes takes exception to a page for some reason. You can over-ride the issue by clicking on the Malwarebytes logo at the top right-hand section of the page and then on the the vertical three dots. For more information, please read Malwarebytes description on how to use its Allow List.
