This report covers January - December 2025
Board Activities
- Approved the General Manager's (GM's) 2025 objectives, and evaluated the GM's performance in 2024.
- There were no amendments to the DP Foundation By-Laws in 2025.
- Canceled the 2025 DP portion of the annual election, in accordance with the By-Laws, as the number of candidates (2) matched the number of available seats. Elected Laura Natal (lnatal) and Robert Tonsing (pterodactyl) to 3-year terms on the Board.
- Elected or Re-elected Board officers: Rich Hulse as Treasurer, Walt Farrell as President, and Dan Lowe as Secretary.
- Arranged for better coverage of officer-related email, by setting up our email system so that email to an officer goes to that officer and another officer as backup.
- Switched from using Slack to Zoom for our monthly meetings.
- Reappointed Linda Hamilton as the DP General Manager, with her new term ending 12/31/2027.
- Sadly, said goodbye to Greg Newby, long-time DPF Board member and one of the founders of DPF, who is missed at both DP and PG after his passing due to illness. The Board started making arrangements for a replacement Class 4 Trustee from PG, but that was delayed and did not happen until 2026.
Financials
The total bank balance as of 31 December 2025 was approximately $35,000.
Our proposed budget for 2025 predicted significantly greater expenses than income due to the planned purchase of a new server, though this would not be a problem given our bank balances. The server was not purchased, so in the end our income remained positive, though down approximately $1,000 from 2024.

- Apr: 49,000th unique title posted
- Oct: DP celebrated its 25th Anniversary
