Updated the wiki some more. Moved 7 from waiting to available and another 6 to Post-Processing. I have some more to go but I'm tired now. And hungry.
Lessee, last week on 6/26 I was 90% over my cold. But after staying up late with friends on 6/25, having to deal with my car (more later) on 6/26, and then trying to make up for two weeks of no chores on Saturday, and then running around with friends all day on Sunday, I was sick again on Monday! I took it very easy for the rest of the week and consider myself completely healed up now. I have a bit of congestion but that seems entirely allergy related.
I am loving my air conditioning. It's finally hot enough for me to feel the difference. I've got the house set to 76 and that feels plenty cold to me. My two friends are like "gah - so hot" but I dislike large temp differences between in and out. If I could make the AC link up and never be more than 6 degrees (F) cooler than outside, I'd be happy. However, I believe that many of my neck and shoulder issues are from the air movement of the AC. I finally figured out it really did boost the strength of the air coming into my bedroom, I thought I'd baffled the vents (with tulle and a shoebox cut out to redirect the air) but I could lie in bed and FEEL cold air blowing across my face. I figured it out during the cold because I couldn't fall asleep. I was doing so previously, so didn't realize that yes, there is a breeze blowing past my face. Which means past my shoulder and neck and I am particularly susceptible to that as I don't move much when I sleep and can stiffen up amazingly. Anyway, I finally figured out that while I had put tulle over the other vent in the room, IT was the vent blowing on me. I put up a board to re-direct the air and voila! No more breeze. I can feel some air movement when the fan kicks on but it's more a general air movement, not a perceptible BREEZE across my head. (I think this helped make my cold worse also, I could FEEL my head getting colder and I had a wool hat on! So, I am fingers-crossed I figured this out.
Weather - sunny and cool until yesterday. We are now at Sunny and Hot. We had the dryest spring in Seattle for 30-some-odd years. In fact, we tied (but did not beat) the 30 year old record for longest days of no rain in the spring. It is not a good thing when all our crops and summer water supply rely upon our rainy spring weather. It looks like it will be a dry summer also. Dang global climate change. I was listening to the radio the other day talking about this "great, cheap" car company in India who hopes to get cars out for the middle-class Indian family costing only $2000 (roughly) and they think they'll get a million on the road by next year and all I could think was - great, more CO2 in the air. Put out cheap electric cars or something but not more fossil fuel guzzling suckers. India already is having issues with pollution!
Work crazy busy, brain tired. I spent the day pleasantly working hard in my garage. I cleaned it completely out, moved and dusted, and wiped down, and then re-organized the whole thing. I put up tool holders on the walls, a cupboard for my gardening gear, cleaned and oiled all my tools and gardening gear. Made a stack of items to go to charity. Piled all my boxes of papers in the dining room as it is well-past time to go through, cull out, and put up last year's paperwork. Plus, I think I will finally start going through and culling out my mom's paperwork. She's been dead over 5 years and I haven't needed any of it. So I feel comfortable finally starting to toss stuff. Whew. It was a hard day, but I got to line several things off my to-do list which makes me feel like I'm moving forward and up and not stagnating which has what the last few months (Honestly) have felt like. But I'm not pushing too hard, I think I took on too much, a lot changed in my life, and I needed to absorb and re-work my routines.
I have "added" in more socializing because some friends and I found we had several common intersts that we exploited. THe next thing you know, I'm out of the house at least two more days a week than I was previously. And it is great and it is fun but all the stuff I was doing either isn't getting done or needs to be moved around and I had to take the time to think it through and, as stated, re-work out what I'm doing and when. It certainly has impacted DP and how much time I have for it, just as I put myself up for the board, wouldn't you know it.
Oh, for anyone who reads this, if you have any input or opinions you would like to share, please do. I may not do anything about it (grin) but it's good to get a cross-section. I would say that MY main curiousity with folks is those that PP, how many use the DP software (guiguts, yet?) and how many use others programs (I know Lucy24 doesn't use it). From there, I'm trying to figure out whether what I perceive as DP's gradual shift to "pages as perfect as possible to the PP" has been of help to the PPer or whether a PPer or any PPer feels like they don't need it so perfect since they have tools to fix it.
See, I hear that a lot "we have tools that could regularize this easier and faster" and the very first thought I have in that is "um, then why aren't we?" which I think has to do with a PPer not always getting the book until after the foofers have gotten their mitts on it. So, I'm looking at things like that. Input would help me understand better, so anyone with input - input it to me! At my regular e-mail if you don't mind, because my DP box gets full to overflowing too quickly: It's my nick at yahoo.com My nick(name) is "TheEileen". (here's hoping that foils mail crawlers). Okay, off to have some hummus. I'm starving!

Updated the list and wiki. Changed up the list a little as it is now less than 100 projects in F1 all the time. Any foofing I do, I do in F2. I am mostly trying to get Ibsen Vol I ready for PPing in reality and massage the other 15 volumes into something that can go through F2. There was LOTS of movement on the wiki. I am going to try to do the updates more often, that might make this updating a deal less tedious. 2.5 hours so far, I swear it was never this long before. Mind you, my shoulder still hurts, but I think that is now a permanent issue, like my back. sigh.
Weather pretty. Cool in the mornings and overcast, but not much rain. Then sunnier in the afternoons but still cool. Health okay but for shoulder and knee and back and oh my head aches and ... all the normal stuff. However, fixing the blowing vents in my bedroom have absolutely meant my shoulder isn't getting worse. I think that made a big difference; I don't get that breeze or icy cold head. Work crazy, friends nice, too much RL to do and so less time for DP.
The board is going to speak with one voice and come up with "official" communication channel - so I won't do much here about it. We are communicating with each other and trying to work out logistics, that's all I'll say for now.

Updated list and wiki. Three items moved. Much faster this way. About 90 minutes instead of 2.5 hours. Managed to get some board business done. Hope to do some F2 foofing.
Weather is now very sunny and very hot. ugh. But my AC is loverly. I sleep pretty well at night, without that massive hot thing going on. I have had some sleep issues which I'll put down to lots of sun and warmth. Even when I can sleep a lot ot make up for lack, I am averaging 5-6 hours. I usually do 7-8. And then I'll suddenly get really tired and sleepy, as per today, and find I can actually sort of nap for 40 minutes. I drowse, not really sleep, but still. Shoulder and neck. Still a problem. Otherwise, all is good.

Updated list and wiki. One movement and four posted. Cool. I'm keeping my vow to post weekly, yay! If I make it part of my routine, I can do it. I did my foofing yesterday and the computer is grinding at me so loudly and I want icecream so no foofing today. alas.
Weather now REALLY HOT. But again, I have air conditioning. So, that is all going well. No bad night of sleeplessness. I saw my primary care physician last week. I have lost another 2 pounds in the last six months. Yay! The unfortunate side effect is I'm starting to see some slightly saggy fatty bits that used to blend into the less saggy fat I had. Apparently I can't lose the unattractive stuff first! :blah: Also, she has given me a consult to an acupuncturist for my neck and shoulder. Mind you, it's a 3 month wait. If I wanted it sooner, I could pay. This way, it's free. I have that weird superstition of if I wait for the doctor I'll be well by then. That's the plan. Wait and hope it goes away! ha! Okay - so, I'm off to have ice cream!
