This page is a listing of books about children's literature. The items are taken from Children's Literature: a guide to reference sources prepared under the direction of Virginia Haviland and published by the Library of Congress in 1966. This page lists only those items published before 1923 and omits the descriptions. The LoC call numbers are provided. Maybe eventually we can get all of these books into PG.
