Instructions for Smooth Reading
2018-09-05 I'm making progress with the book now that people have volunteered to help with the Hebrew and Greek. Most of what's left is proofreading and other kinds of checking. I'll let the book out for smooth reading in a week or two.

=========================
This has been a challenging book, mostly because of the Greek and Hebrew phrases that are used so often. I'm now trying to find experts in these languages for proofreading and transcription help.

This is a history of how the Jews, Romans and Greeks lived together in ancient Rome and Greece. The book was produced by The Jewish Publication Society of America in 1916. It contains lots of quotes in Latin and Greek and a few dozen in Hebrew. All the Greek and Hebrew quotes have been proofread and corrected, when necesary. If there are errors, the were introduced by me and I will be happy to fixe them.

Four weeks may not be enough time to read this book and, if so, I'll extend the SR period for another four weeks.

Please write if you have any questions.
