Instructions for Smooth Reading

2018-09-22 10:20 uploaded by rubycon
The Empress of Ireland sank with almost as great a loss of life as that in the Titanic sinking. This book is an "authentic account" of the sinking and aftermath, along with material about the Titanic and ship safety.

Latin-1 text is available to download from the link here. Italic text is marked with _underscores_. There are numerous illustrations, partial passenger lists, and a couple of poems and verses.

If you would prefer to read the fairly extensively illustrated edition (44 monochrome images, including photographs, line drawings, small maps and diagrams) you may prefer to read the HTML, EPub or Mobi version of the book. All versions can be downloaded from:

The HTML edition has been zipped for convenience. Download and save the zip to your PC, then extract it all into a folder of your choosing. Open the .htm file in your preferred browser.

I have made this book available for four weeks intially, but will happily grant time extensions. Please PM me if you need additional time. Partial smoothies are, as always, also very welcome.

Enjoy, and thanks for smoothying!
