In Memoriam/Mebyon

Chris joined Distributed Proofreaders on 3 August 2006. He proofread and formatted more than 6,000 pages and post-processed 9 projects. However, most of us are more familiar with the incredible work he did as a Project Manager and with his work mentoring new Project Managers. 2,069 of Chris' projects have been posted to Project Gutenberg, many with scores of beautiful illustrations, and there are many others working their way through post-processing. According to my records, he mentored at least 27 new Project Managers, and we all know that his calm, friendly assistance helped many, many more. Chris was also active in the forums, and in recent years, we joyfully followed his Jack's Journals about the adventures of his feisty French Bulldog/"Jack-Daniels" pup.
